Community Café (Thurs, St Stephens building)
The cafe runs every Thursday from 9am to 11am. A place to get a full cooked English breakfast and to meet up with friends, to make new friends, rekindle old friendships and an opportunity to ask for prayer for yourself or others.
FoodCycle (Wed, St Barts building)
A free 3-course vegetarian meal is served every Wednesday at 12:30pm in St Barts building. This uses food donated by local shops and supermarkets, which would otherwise go to waste. This is open to everyone and is part of the FoodCycle network.
@7 (Tue, St Stephens building)
This is a Tuesday morning meeting, in the St Stephens building, for the men of the church. We meet at 7am (yes, in the morning), for a time of prayer, worship or discussion (it is different each week). This is then followed by breakfast – usually croisant and pain au chocolate, but often bacon and eggs – and a time to continue chatting together. Speak to Andy Wier for more details.
Small Group (Thurs, St Stephens building)
This is an opportunity to share more deeply with a smaller group of people from within the church. It generally involves a mixture of socializing, praying and studying the Bible together. It is on a Thursday 11:15am to 12:30pm, run by Tina and is at St Stephens building.
Contact Group (Thurs & Sat, St Barts building)
St Bart’s is open every Thursday and Saturday from 10am to 2pm as a drop in for anyone, but specialises in dealing with people with Mental health concerns. ( we accept the councils SDS programme) There are many activities during the sessions with Lunch available for £3.00. Some of the activities include, Bingo, Art projects , Relaxation , Trips take place to the seaside twice a year, and fayres.
