Family Activity Day and Pancake Party on Tue 17th Feb, in St Stephen’s building.

Come along between 2pm and 5pm for a bouncy castle, games and crafts and (of course) pancakes!

All children must be accompanied by an adult – you can also find the event on facebook.

PRAYER FOCUS OF THE WEEK

Please give thanks specifically for our two Wardens, Joyce and Charles; and specifically for the PCC members. And for Helen in the office. This October is our monthly PCC meeting.

“A body is made up of many parts, and each of them has its own use. That’s how it is with us. There are many of us, but we each are part of the body of Christ, as well as part of one another. God has also given each of us different gifts to use. If we can prophesy, we should do it according to the amount of faith we have. If we can serve others, we should serve. If we can teach, we should teach. If we can encourage others, we should encourage them. If we can give, we should be generous. If we are leaders, we should do our best. If we are good to others, we should do it cheerfully.”

Please pray that our discussions and decisions will bear fruit for Jesus both inside and outside our buildings and worship times. That choices would come out of a place of prayer.

This Thursday (2nd Oct) a group of us will start working through the Fruitfulness on the Frontline course from LICC.

This will be running over 8 sessions at Sarah & Davo’s house, Thursdays at 8pm – please ask them if you are interested in finding out more. Feel free to join us, even if you can’t make every session.
