Rhythm of Prayer

We are “The Vine.” Our name reminds us that our identity comes from Jesus. “I am the vine; you are the branches,” Jesus says in John 15:5, “if you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”

Apart from anything else, therefore, we are a worshipping community. Each day of the week we aspire to bring ourselves to God. We encourage each other to pray, to hear and heed God’s Word, and to be open to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

For those who are able, we set aside the following times to pray together.

We have developed a short resource as a liturgy and guide for our prayers.

We often use the Moravian daily readings when we pray.

We also usually meet every 1st and 3rd Monday nights at 7:30pm
at St. Bart’s to pray together freely and informally.

Even if we can’t pray together, we know that many are praying during the rhythm of their daily lives. We would love to hear testimonies about how the Spirit has led you during these times.
